Preppy Terms & Conditions

By enrolling in a certification training program offered through Preppy, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

Money Back Guarantee

Preppy’s programs include a money back guarantee…if you’re unsatisfied with your program your return request must be made within 30 days of original purchase and the user’s “time in content” must not exceed 10 total hours. You must contact us in writing within 30 days of your registration to be eligible for the refund. If you enroll and cancel within 30 days, and then re-enroll at a later date, you are no longer eligible for a refund.

Free Included Laptop

Certain programs offered through Preppy include a free laptop. If you select a program and plan which does include that, you should receive the laptop within a few weeks of registration at the address provided. A coordinator may also reach out to you regarding shipping the laptop to you in a timely manner.

Once you complete your course, and pay any outstanding costs and fees (including remaining monthly payments) for the program, the laptop is yours to keep.
However, if you either cancel your program within the first 30 days for a refund, or do not make all of the required payment plans for your certification training program, it is your responsibility to return the laptop in an undamaged and working condition, and at your expense for shipping and handling, back to Preppy.

If you cancel within 30 days, or become delinquent on payments, you are authorizing Preppy to charge your billing information on file for an additional $250 if the laptop is not returned in an undamaged and working condition within 45 days.

Payment Plans

After registering for a training program, you will be responsible for the total cost of the program, including all outstanding payment plan installments, unless you cancel your program within the 30 day refund policy window. After the 30 day refund eligibility period, you are responsible for any and all outstanding payments remaining on the plan you’ve selected.

Certificate of Completion

After successful completion of your program, and no remaining balance or outstanding payments on your payment plan (i.e. paid in full), you will be able to request a Certificate of Completion from the University. This can then be used on your resume and placed on your home or office wall.

Externship Opportunity

Learners who complete this program, and have no remaining balance or outstanding payments on your payment plan (i.e. paid in full), are eligible to participate in an optional volunteer externship opportunity with a local company/agency/organization whose work aligns with this area of study in order to gain valuable hands-on experience. As learners progress through their eLearning program, an Externship Coordinator will reach out to coordinate placement.

International Students

Programs offered through Preppy are open to International students, and entails the same offering as it does to domestic U.S. based students with the following exceptions: Laptops are not able to shipped overseas to international students, and Preppy cannot guarantee or offer externship opportunities outside of the U.S.
