What will the EKG technician course program do for me?
Is my externship included as part of the EKG technician program?
Yes! The externship is 100% inclusive of the Preppy Training Program. As you get close to finishing your EKG tech program, one of our representatives will reach out to you to coordinate your volunteer externship at one of our many health care organization partners across the country. This externship could take place at a local hospital, a medical group, a clinic, or other organization where you can gain an externship experience operating electrocardiogram machine and other EKG Tech work. You will be eligible for the externship once you have no remaining balance on any payment plans -in other words, paid in full, and have successfully completed your program. Our team will work to coordinate the externship with an organization that is local to you or as close as possible. Please note that the externship is currently not available to International students.
You’ll have full online access for 1 year to complete your program. All of the courses and lessons are self-paced, and can be completed as quickly as you’d like! If you need more time for any reason, you can always contact us to request an extension. We’re here for you!
